How would you like to participate in a most extraordinary adventure?
The Green Circus is gathering together a team of environmental superheros.  We have eight high school students, and we will still accept applications for four more students.  Together, we will learn about bio-diesel (a vegetable based diesle fuel) and other sustainible energy sources.  Hands on activities will include fueling a bio-diese vehicle with recycled fryer grease collected from a fast food resturant, designing a renewable energy dream car, and participating in a party that will be DJed with a solar powered turn table.  The workshop will take place in The Bonx at Brooke Park, one or more Wednesday afternoons, after school, in May.  We will be video taping the workshop to create an educational video that will be distributed to schools.
We cannot continue to burn fossil fuels at the expense of the air we breath.  If you would like to learn how to be part of the solution, please send your: name, age, grade, school and e-mail adress to jason@greencircus.org

We're big kids too!
South Bronx, not the Bronx Zoo
GREEN CIRCUS taught 90 4th Graders things they never knew. With paper that flew and rubber band guitars they took these kids minds out to the stars. They learned, "Thanksgiving is the seasonal harvest." and so for that reason that, they turned into a forest. Later on they turned into a junkband chorus. With a ha-ha-ha and zoobity-doo... They went around the circle in groups of 22. Parents and Teachers? Yeah...they had a few. Harry from the garden and Ayer were there too. I think you'd say it was a nice little crew. We walked the walk, we talked the talk and some got to draw with the sidewalk chalk.
